Paola Vilas & Lina Bo Bardi

Paola Vilas presents her latest and most special creation: an exclusive collection inspired by the universe of Lina Bo Bardi, the result of an unprecedented collaboration with the Instituto Bardi.

She is the first artist-designer invited by the institute’s curatorship to translate the architect’s complete body of work into jewelry. Paola immersed herself in Lina’s vast and multifaceted legacy, which ranges from furniture design to iconic projects such as MASP, SESC Pompeia, and the emblematic Glass House.

More than an architect, Lina Bo Bardi was a disruptive woman, capable of bringing visionary ideas to life in multiple formats, always driven by a human and poetic perspective on Brazil. Seeking a genuine point of connection, Paola explored the institute’s enchanting archive (from childhood drawings to letters, architectural spaces, objects, and sketches) to capture the spirit that guided Lina’s entire oeuvre.

The collection consists of pieces designed to go beyond ornamental function and assert themselves as artistic manifestos. It is Paola’s signature surrealism in direct dialogue with Lina’s structural precision, creating pieces that are, above all, wearable works of art.
