Important Note:
All 925 silver jewelry plated with 18k gold requires special care and is subject to changes in appearance. The gold plating is a thin layer over the 925 silver; therefore, contact with various surfaces, exposure to chemicals in creams and perfumes, and even the pH of the skin can act as polish or reagents, gradually removing this fine layer and revealing the 925 silver underneath. When the gold plating wears off, it is possible to reapply the plating or clean the piece for use as 925 silver.
